Le Closet offers subscription-based clothing rental services through boxes. This innovative and sustainable concept aims to reshape « consumption models by replacing ownership with use ».
Since its inception in 2014, Le Closet has doubled its shipping volumes every year.
To meet its strong growth and improve service quality, Le Closet called on AVN to mechanise its internal logistics operations: clothing folding, packing, parcel labelling and dispatch sortation.
The solution designed, manufactured and installed by AVN within the short lead time of 7 weeks is simple, compact and scalable.
It is a dispatch line made up of 3 stacked conveyors feeding the various workstations with totes, parcels or polybags, with contact-free accumulation between the stations.
Commissioned in late December 2019, this line allows Le Closet to optimise operator working conditions while accelerating its logistics operations and shipping flows. As stated by Ralph Mansour, co-founder and CEO of Le Closet,
