The La Poste mail-sorting and distribution platform (PPDC) in Toulon – La Seyne-sur-Mer has moved to automatic sortation since the end of September!

Zero days of production downtime over the 3-month project, thanks to the two phases carefully engineered by AVN, allowed a gradual transition.

The AVN parcel sortation line combines 2 telescopic infeeds and feeds 7 outlets, at an operational rate of 4,000 parcels per hour.

Downstream of the AVascaN 5-face linear-camera reader, the 1st outlet enables automatic re-injection of relabelled parcels to the 2 Quality-Excellence workstations.
